Search engine news
The search engine industry is going through massive changes mainly aimed at revenue raising but also for a number of engines, better search results.
- Google was the best search engine. In November 2003 their "commercial" interests changed and so did the search results they display.
- Yahoo have re-emerged and will overtake Google as the world's most popular engine.
- In 2003, 92% of all traffic was initiated from less than 15 search engines/directories.
- Avoid at all costs [or it will cost you] CitySearch, Sensis, YellowPages
